Ogre Battle 64 - Person of Lordly Caliber (USA) ROM

This game.... is terrible. You might think I am just impatient and do not like this genre, but no, stay away. It takes thirty minutes to even get past the opening scene and when you finally do, you will realize the game is worth that of a pile of dung. I am sure it was fun for its time, but it has not aged well. Consider this: this game was so boring and bad that I made an account on this website specifically to write this review. Once you get to a battle screen you order your main character Magnus to move to a location and it takes him 257 seconds to reach the first enemy. (Yeah that's right, I timed it) It boggles my mind how someone could think this is fun. Once you enter a battle with an enemy you think, " oh this should be fun, it is sort of like final fantasy." But no this could not be further from the truth. the battle happens on its own and you could literally play this game by setting a destination for your character putting down the controller and watching. Worst. Game. Ever.

This game is a continuation of the SNES Ogre Battle. In fact, many of the character from that version show up here. However, the plot involves a prince who is destined to revive a demigod who will either save or destroy the world. A great addition to the series.
