Lufia - Curse of the Sinistrals (U) ROM

Lufia - Curse of The Sinistrals is COMPLETE remake of the classic RPG that was once called Lufia II - Rise of The Sinistrals. Almost every aspect of the game has been reimagined or modified, with the sole exception of the characters and the plot (even thought it has been reduced and  lot of the character relations aspect has been lost IMHO).
The graphics have been updated to use the DS 3D rendering to it's full potential and the soundtrack consists of remastered versions of the tunes from the original game, which is very nice. Character design has been redone and they now look more modern and anime-like. The battle system has moved from turn-based RPG to action RPG and requires a lot of button mashing, although the game is not hard. Finally the puzzle aspect remains strong in the game as it was in the original, and now it's combined with the freedom of exploring a 3D world.
All this "innovation" brings an interesting new game to the DS, however it's one game very far from the original. Die hard fans of Lufia II like me may be disappointed by all this change, but alas it's a good game. Probably it'll be enjoyed to the fullest by people not familiarized with the original.
