OverviewRune Factory combines farming, RPG combat elements, and a dating simulation into a fairly robust and fun game.

Our hero, collapsed because of hunger and thirst in front of the house of one eccentric girl named Mist.
When our hero asked for food, he gets a hoe(!), and when he asked for water, she brings her watering can instead (!!).
After a brief introduction, she insists that our hero stays at her farm and while showing us her farm, a monster suddenly attacks.
Our hero, armed with only a hoe, dispatched the monster to the First Forest and officially becomes the owner of the farm.
Unlike the usual Harvest Moon, Rune Factory offers RPG elements. You get to explore dungeons, tame monsters, and plant things inside the dungeon.
