OverviewSave innocent Humans from the menacing alien invaders bent on transforming them into hideous mutants in the sequel to the famous Defender.
rbx4 rates this game: 3/5Defender II is the more difficult and complex than its predecessor. This game was also released in systems such as the Atari 2600, but with weaker graphics in that case. The Defender series features a different look and feel from modern shooters, and that is part of its appeal. You control the scrolling and the speed of scrolling, and you can progress in either the left or right. An indicator shows you where the aliens are, and stargates can take you to humanoids in trouble. You can rescue humanoids from abduction, but if the aliens succeed in abducting all of them the humanoids will turn into "mutants." There is a bonus stage after every 5th stage. This game was originally known as Stargate.
