Predator (USA) ROM

Predator is an excellent side-scrolling shooter for the NES. This game is one of the best of its kind. You play as Dutch, a commando who is left all alone in the jungle after the massacre of his comrades by an unknown entity ( The Predator). Using different weapons and your personal skill with the controller, you navigate through several interesting levels (some of which are quite challenging) including "Big Mode" boss levels which set this particular NES shooter apart from others that are more well known such as the Contra series. The story doesn't have much depth but, most shooters in the NES era lacked this so it did not weigh in on my rating for this game. The chip tunes that make up the musical score for this title are GREAT! If you like old style side scrolling shooters, then you should definitely give Predator a shot. ;)
