Section-Z (USA) ROM

Section Z is a Capcom side-scrolling shooter but not one of their best. It does feature shooting either forward or backward, and it allows you to be hit more than once by enemy fire. Unfortunately, the terrain can be an annoying killer if you get caught on a terrain pixel when the auto-scrolling screen moves on. You are also expected to have some knowledge of which level that you want to go through: typically there is a choice of two and you need to have some map or idea of where the up or down lifts will take you. The power-ups are in the form of speed-ups and more rarely as better weapons. This game had some potential but is hampered by a few annoying aspects of gameplay that will probably cause most players to move on to another game.
