Monster Hunter Freedom (USA) ISO

Monster Hunter places you as the resident "Hunter" of a small village. You will take on Quests that send you to varying locations such as deserts, swamps and volcanos to hunt a variety of monsters where your skill as a player of the game is tested, not your stats. 
The other half of the game is preparation, with items armours and weapons. You collect materials from out in the field and from fallen Monsters to turn into armours to protect yourself and enhance certain abilities (Some armours allow you to dodge better, some grant a better defence or there are some that will show the monster on the minimap). Different weapons such as Lances, Swords & Shields, Great Swords and Bows have different play styles and deal damage in different ways. Some weapons also have elemental attack power which work better on certain monsters. 
The game can be difficult, but it is highly rewarding and this is where the game truly shines because with practice, preparation and some amount of luck, you can bring even the most amazing and fantastic creatures down and you will feel like you've genuinely accomplished something.
