Comix Zone (Europe) ROM

Comix Zone is a 1995 beat 'em up game developed by Sega for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive. The game features comic book artist Sketch Turner as he is trapped inside his own comic book by the evil mutant Mortus, another of Sketch's creations. The game is visually similar to a comic book, with Sketch crossing comic book panels, enemies ripping through the page, and other references to comic books.

The game is well-known for its difficulty but lack of length, as the player only has one life to complete all six levels. The game is one of the few to utilize the six-button Genesis controller, with the extra buttons being assigned to using items in Sketch's inventory. The game was well received, but suffered from poor sales due to the upcoming release of the Sega Saturn.
