Dark Cloud, the predecessor of the critically acclaimed Dark Cloud 2, is most often referred to as an action RPG with heavy story-telling and customization elements. Players take control of different characters, each with their own weapon specialties and talents, to collect pieces of destroyed towns in an effort to rebuild them and save the world. Filled to the brim with classic dungeon crawling elements, innovative mechanics, challenging enemies and boss fights and lovable and ingenious characters this tops the charts as one of my favorite play station games, surpassed only by Dark Cloud 2.

Dark Cloud is an action RPG with dungeon crawler elements. It features a georama system that allows you to build towns any way you want. You collect the georama pieces from dungeons. There are six playable characters that all have their own unique abilities and weapons. You can upgrade the character's health and thirst meter. Traveling through dungeons, your characters will get thristy and you can use items to recover their thirst meter. The game features a unique weapon system where you will upgrade and level up your weapons. You can attach different elements to your weapons and give them more power or unique abilities. Dark Cloud is an amazing game with lots of gameplay and a interesting story. If you like action RPGs or dungeon crawlers, this game is for you.
