Sly 2 - Band of Thieves is the 2nd game of the Sly Cooper games, and sequel to Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. The game follows on from the story of the first Sly Cooper game, following the defeat of the Fiendish Five. The gang, namely Sly Cooper the Raccoon, Bentley the Turtle and Murrey the Hippo, after failing to steal the parts of Clockwerk, defeated leader of the Fiendish Five, track down the thieves who had stolen the parts, a gang known as The Klaww Gang. Throughout the story they are chased by Carmilita Fox and her assistant Constable Neyla

The game differs immensely from its predecessor in many ways, most notably the existence of 3 playable characters. In the original it was only possible to be Sly, however Sly 2 brings with it the ability to play as Bentley and Murrey also. Bentley's gameplay follows a form of a sniper/saboteur approach to questing and defeating enemies, whereas Murrey is more focused on brute strength and powerhousing. The game also features coins which can be used to purchase upgrades from the hideout, and the introduction of the ability for Sly to pickpocket not only allows him to steal coins from his enemies, but he can rob them of expensive items they may be carrying, like gold bars, which can be sold for enormous coins at the hideout.

Overall the game far surpasses its predecessor, bringing about new elements that make gameplay more comfortable, less restrictive, more in line with the playable characters, and much much more fun. I highly recommend this game to anyone who is an avid lover of the Sly series
