Lion King, The (Europe) ROM

The Lion King is a platform game from Disney. It is based on the same movie Lion King.The story follows Simba a young lion to cub to his adult life where he needs to battle Scar. In the first half of the game you play as young Simba and you can defeat enemies by jumping on them. Simba can also roar. In the second half of the game you control adult Simba and your attacks are more powerful. Simba can also do some combat moves now like scratching, mauling and throws. By collecting bugs you restore Simba's life and if you collect special bugs you can unlock bonus levels. In the bonus levels you play as Timon or Pumbaa and you can earn extra lives and continues. In Pumbaa's stages you catch falling bugs and in Timon's stages you hunt for bugs.
