Super Metroid (Japan, USA) (En,Ja) [Hack by Kejardon v1.1] (Control Freak) ROM

A simple hack for Super Metroid that makes it control more like the GBA Metroid games.

Aiming is set to one button that you hold and then hit up or down on the d-pad to change the direction you're pointing in, you can even move while aiming straight up.
Using secondary weapons like missiles is handled in a similar way, you select the weapon you want to use, hold the "Brandish Item" button and then hit fire, making it easier to switch missiles on and off in the heat of combat.
The X-Ray scope gets its own button too, so it doesn't get in the way of running.
There's even an auto-run option so you don't have to constantly be holding down the run button to move at top speed.
There isn't any midair re-spin though, so you'll have to patch that in yourself if you want that. :(
