Bad Dudes (USA) ROM

Are you a bad enough dude to save the president? I hope so. This game is an average beat em up with 80's attitude.

As the title suggests, this game is about two very bad dudes. As in bad a**. The only story here is that the president has been kidnapped by ninjas. You (and/or your friend) are tasked with saving him because, as previously mentioned, you're two bad dudes.

Controls are responsive with directional based attacks, jumps, and moves giving this game, like many other brawlers, wider control sets.

Sound is pretty basic upbeat fight tunes. At the end of each level, spoiler, your bad dude SCREAMS BLOODY PSYCHO MURDER to show how much of a bad dude he is as if the title, his name, and the fact that he just took down a horde of ninjas on the back of a semi truck and a demon with shredder claws with his bare fists wasn't enough. I was never not startled by this.

Gameplay is straight forward. Work your way forward through endless ninja enemies that do everything from hit and run, throwin down tacks or a knife, to trying to punch you to death until you reach the end of the screen and the boss appears. A flaw in the gameplay, though, is that unlike the whole level leading up to the boss, the bosses seem woefully easy. They fall for the old villan trope of being able to make 5 of themselves but for some reason only sending in one at a time, etc.

Overall, this is a pretty standard, good, brawler.
