Game Description & Reviews:
Action/Adventure game. Beautiful design and wonderful plot as well as fun gaming.
Beautiful graphics still, 10 years on.
Legend of Zelda - The Wind Waker's cel-shaded graphics is one of the most divisive topics in gaming, with one camp claiming that the kiddie-oriented graphics are ruining the franchise while the other praises the fresh, vibrant artistic style that breathes new life to the aging (at that time) franchise.
Outside of the 2 sides of the consensus about the graphics mentioned above, I won't bother talking about the visuals because that would be missing the point: regardless of whether you like the bold, fresh new artistic style or loathe the kiddie-oriented graphics, it still doesn't negate the fact that behind said visuals is one of the most expansive, immersive, and enjoyable action RPGs made by the big N. Play it now if you're looking for something that will grab your gaming tastes by the cojones and keep it occupied for weeks on end.
One of the monumental games in the series where Link isn't going to save Hyrule from destruction, or save the damsel in distress Zelda. Instead he rescues his sister who has been captured now link embarking on a journey to save her. Battling to raging dragons and Formidable bosses in the game.
With awesome graphics and a totally cool gaming experience that will knock your socks off. Love the Legend of Zelda series!
One of the best Zelda games with an amazing art style. Link, our hero, is not on a quest to save te kingdom or the princess, but to rescue his little sister, who was captured by a giant bird. With pirates, raging dragons, and crazy wind gods, the Wind Waker is the most memorable games on the GC console.
Such an amazing game! I have played this multiple times and fall in love with it all over again every time. A must have for Zelda fans
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is an action-adventure game and the tenth installment in The Legend of Zelda series. It was released for the Nintendo GameCube in Japan on December 13, 2002, in North America on March 24, 2003, in Europe on May 2, 2003, and in Australia on May 7, 2003. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the Nintendo DS is the direct sequel to The Wind Waker.
The game is set on a group of islands in a vast sea, first for the series. The player controls Link, the protagonist of the Zelda series. He struggles against his nemesis, Ganondorf, for control of a sacred relic known as the Triforce. Link spends a large portion of the game sailing, traveling between islands, and traversing through dungeons and temples to gain the power necessary to defeat Ganondorf. He also spends time trying to find his little sister.
The Wind Waker follows in the footsteps of Ocarina of Time and its sequel Majora's Mask, retaining the basic gameplay and control system from the two Nintendo 64 titles. A heavy emphasis is placed on using and controlling wind with a baton called the Wind Waker, which aids sailing and floating in air.[3][4][5][6] Controversial during development for its use of cel shading graphics and younger Link character, The Wind Waker received acclaim on release and is one of the Nintendo GameCube's most popular games.
Wind Waker is the 10th Installment of the Zelda Franchise, and is often compared to Ocarina of Time as the best Zelda Game. Wind Waker features A EXTREMELY Large open sea, in which you can explore and discover many things. It has a Cartoonish graphics, which while are unrealistic, is colorful and fun, and good for most Children, it also features a very interesting story, and much more! Overall the Legend of Zelda is a Great game and a must have for all Zelda fans and Gamers in general.
When The Legend of Zelda the Wind Waker was announced and revealed to feature a rather strange cartoon style to their visuals, fans were left scratching their heads to whether they should end up purchasing the new art turn. When it was released however it quickly became a popular addition to the series. In fact it inspired future games to add further intelligence to a variety of elements, as the Wind Waker not only featured amzing art and sound but also smart gameplay - such as items having more uses and temple puzzles to perplex and challenge.
A new link is the hero this time around, in a Hyrule bound together by vast oceans. Link has to use the wind to his advantage as he sales off in set of new islands in the new area to explore. Ganondorf has return Zelda - but not in ways you might think casual to the franchise.
Incorporating new techniques, sound, items, adventures, gameplay, intelligence, art styles and various other achievements - the Wind Waker makes for some tough and fun adventures with the new characters and worlds - link still doesn't talk, but that's no negative to the story. What makes it even more entertaining is the comedy and plain fun that comes with the new visuals, It's unlike any other game of the series and you'll love every minute of it!

This game is a great puzzle game with action and adventure. It took a 1 half our download for me, but worth it. I have played all the Zelda games and this and OoT Are the 2 best. It is the same graphics from the gamecube version and can never be beat. Welldone.

Best TLoZ game I've ever played. An unforgettable experiece!
I think everyone knows what it's about!
Link is after Ganon because he has plotted to use the power of the tri-force for his own evil doings.
On top of that, his siter, and another girl were taken from him to a holding cell inside of a tower, which you later have to go to, to retrieve the girls.
Afterward, Link is on a journey to find the pieces of the tri-force, and use it specifically to defeat Ganon, and nothing else.
